DPD France official partner of Davis Cup semi-final

Tennis/sponsorship - DPD France: an official partner of the 2018 Davis Cup semi-final by BNP Paribas France vs Spain

12 September 2018 - DPD France, a leading player in the French parcel delivery market, is renewing its support for French tennis as partner of the Davis Cup semi-final between France and Spain, to be held in Lille from 14 to 16 September 2018.

 

The 2018 Davis Cup is the 107th edition of this professional men's tennis tournament between nation teams. After winning the third singles quarterfinal against Italy on the clay courts of Valletta-Cambiaso on 8 April, France will host Spain in Lille from 14 to 16 September to compete for a place in final. The Pierre Mauroy stadium, in "Arena Tennis" configuration, will offer a capacity of 27,500 seats, the largest in France.

The top-level event will be played on hard surfaces in indoor conditions. The French team, which currently holds the tournament title, will be attempting to reach its second final in a row.

DPD France has taken the opportunity of this tournament, which ranks among the world's biggest sporting events, to renew its support for French tennis. As in 2017, DPD France is one of the official partners of the semi-final of this prestigious annual international competition.

As the official partner of the event, DPD France’s name will be displayed on the covers at the back of the court.

The sponsorship will also be displayed on a TV billboard (4" x 6"). The advertising clip will be shown between 14 and 16 September on the France Télévision and beIN Sport channels; it will also be featured in a digital activation campaign.

DPD's sponsorship of the tennis world can also be seen in its support for players Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues since 2016 as part of a 2-year contract.
